"As a city centre resident myself, I've always been frustrated by the lack of quality fish and chip shops within Manchester City Centre.

As a Lancashire lad, fish and chip formed a large part of my staple diet growing up, and rapidly approaching fifty I found myself craving the traditional Friday fish and chip supper that I always looked forward to at the end of a hard week.

Having identified this gap in the market, and subsequently managing to secure the unit adjacent to The Village Shop, it seemed to make perfect sense to establish a traditional fish and chip shop to satisfy the need for a quality, traditional English fish and chip shop, in an easily accessible, central location for both residents, city centre workers, and tourists to the city.
